Bonneville Joint School District 93: eBook Access Guide

Access for Staff and Students
Bonneville Joint School District 93 provides free 24/7 access to eBooks for all employees and students. This includes popular titles such as Michael Vey, Magic Tree House, Harry Potter, 39 Clues, The Selection, Wings of Fire, I Survived, Bad Kitty, Dogman, and many more. Magazine titles are also available.

For those with public library accounts through Libby or Sora, you can use both services simultaneously.

2. Libby: Offers access to public library collections.

To get started, download the Sora app on any device.

Elementary Student Permissions
Elementary students wishing to access books from the secondary library must have their parent or gaurdian complete a permission form:

• Visit the district website, select Parents & Students, then Forms, and locate the OverDrive Permission Form.

Access for Secondary Students and Staff
Secondary students and staff have full access to all available books. For assistance, contact Julie Briggs at briggsju@d93.k12.id.us.

Sora Login Instructions

Elementary Students

1. Log in to ClassLink and open Sora, download the Sora app, or use the login link above.
2. Select “Bonneville Elementary Students” from the dropdown menu.
3. Provide:
   • 4x4 ID (e.g., smitjohn)
   • Student Number

Secondary Students

1. Log in to ClassLink and open Sora, download the Sora app, or use the login link above.
2. Select “Bonneville Secondary Students and Staff” from the dropdown menu.
3. Provide:
   • Library Card Number (4x4 ID, e.g., smitjohn)
   • PIN (your school computer login password)

Staff Members

1. Log in to ClassLink and open Sora, download the Sora app, or use the login link above.
2. Select “Bonneville Secondary Students and Staff” from the dropdown menu.
3. Provide:
   • Library Card Number (school computer login username)
   • PIN (school computer login password)

Sora Tips

1. Automatic Returns: Books return themselves after two weeks—no late fees!
2. Book Limits: Borrow up to 3 books at a time. Frequent returns allow unlimited checkouts within two weeks.
3. Offline Reading: Download books before traveling for offline access.
4. Device Access: Use Sora on any device with internet access.
5. Adding Libraries: Add “Bonneville” to your Sora app. Ensure it lists Idaho Falls, not Ogden.
6. Returning Books:
   • Online: Go to your bookshelf and select Return Title.
   • App: Press and hold the book jacket for 3 seconds, then select Return Title.
