Hello! My name is Mrs. Havens. At Summit Hills Elementary, I teach my favorite grade, 2nd grade. I have been teaching for 14 years. I have a bachelors in elementary education from BYU-Idaho and a master’s degree in math education from WGU. My family has 3 girls and 4 boys. We also have 2 rabbits, 1 dog, and 1 cat. One of my hidden talents is that I can move my ears without touching them! I like to garden, hike, swim, and play the piano. My dream vacation would be to travel Europe. I would love to eat Italian food in Italy and visit the castles of Germany. I spend my summer breaks at the baseball field watching my children play. I love to be outside gardening and staying by the pool eating popsicles. We also go on road trips and visit national parks over the summer. If I won the lottery and could do anything, I think I would still teach. But maybe teach  just a few hours a day. I love that I get to spend the day with children and I feel especially lucky to have my children come to school with me everyday!
